“Lypo-C Enoshima Week” Records Its Largest-Ever Participation with 414 Boats and 689 Sailors

Lypo-C Enoshima Week 2026 has officially commenced. This year’s event marks the largest edition in the regatta’s history, with 689 sailors from six countries competing across 11 classes on 414 boats. Measurement inspections for the 470 class were conducted today, and racing will begin tomorrow.

The regatta also serves as the secondary qualification event for the youth classes (420, 29er, and iQFOiL) for the 2026 Asian Games, making it an important competition for young sailors aiming to earn a place on the Japanese national team.

本大会は「第20回愛知･名古屋アジア競技大会」のユース種目（420級、29er級、iQFOiL級）の代表選考（二次選考大会）にも位置付けられており、日本代表入りを目指す若手選手たちにとって重要な大会となります。
