Fujisawa City

 

The International Olympic Committee’s Executive Board has confirmed Enoshima where the Tokyo 1964 Olympic Games yacht racing was held as the venue for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games sailing competition on June 8, 2015.

Tourist city where person more than 13 million a year visits Fujisawa that it is in the sea of Shonan there, and overlooks Mount Fuji in the distance.
Particularly, having "Oriental Miami Beach" and declared beautiful shoreline, in Katasekaigan full of people enjoying much marine sports and Enoshima full for a long time as the ground of prayer, excursion, it is in popular area of Japan eminence. 
In addition, through the year, a lot of event and traditional events full of senses of the seasons are performed and please participating many people.

From the Tokyo Metropolitan area, Fujisawa Station is served by the Odakyu Enoshima Line, JR Ueno Tokyo Line, and the JR Shonan-Shinjuku Line. Direct trains from Shinjuku Station, Shibuya Station, Shinagawa Station, Tokyo Station, and Ueno Station take around 1 hour. In addition, the Enoshima Electric Railway (Enoden Line) connects Fujisawa and Kamakura in just 30 minutes. Access to/from airports is also convenient, with direct buses from Narita and Haneda airports.
